Nicolás Alvarado

Nicolás Alvarado is a writer, communicator, and cultural promoter with extensive experience in media, literature, and theater. The author of several books, he has played a significant role in Mexico’s public and cultural life, including serving as a founding member of Democracia Social and as a member of the Citizen Commission for Studies Against Discrimination. In media, he has worked as a producer, writer, host, and commentator across various television platforms. He has also served as editor-in-chief of El Huevo magazine, director general of TV UNAM, and vice president of the Association of Educational Television Networks of Ibero-America. He is currently the general producer of Teatro de Babel, director of the content production company Apóstrofo, and a columnist for El Heraldo de México, where he also hosts the weekly podcast La pinche complejidad. He serves as an advisor to the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL Guadalajara) and Moët Hennessy Mexico, collaborates with Carlos Loret de Mola’s news program on Latinus, and is a member of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
