Miguel Ángel Cheschistz is a lawyer and advocate for land use rights and urban development. For over 15 years, he has practiced law in Mexico City with a unique perspective and an innovative approach to solving challenges in the real estate industry — setting him apart in his own category. With legal studies from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, Universidad Panamericana, and Escuela Libre de Derecho, he is equipped not only to interpret the law, but to design and integrate strategic solutions that ensure the best outcomes for every project. He is the co-host of the podcast La Ciudad que Queremos (“The City We Want”) and has collaborated with urban planning associations and participated in academic initiatives.

Lidia González Malagón is a Doctor in Urbanism and a sociologist from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She holds a Master’s degree in Metropolitan Planning and Policies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She collaborates with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in training programs focused on urban-environmental policies, financing instruments, and land planning and management. For over fifteen years, she has participated in research and academic projects at UNAM’s Institute for Social Research. She currently coordinates the Diploma in Socio-Legal Studies of Urban Land, a joint initiative between IIS-UNAM and the Lincoln Institute. As a consultant, she has contributed to the development of regulatory content on land-use planning in collaboration with SEDATU, local governments, UN-Habitat, the World Resources Institute, and other international organizations. She is also the co-host of the podcast La Ciudad que Queremos (“The City We Want”).
