Gaby, originally from Mexico but considering herself an Austinite, arrived in Austin, Texas, in the year 2000 to pursue her studies. Since 2002, she has been involved in the real estate market. Before fully committing to a career as a sales agent and founding The Proctor Team, Gaby had a successful career at Univision, a prominent media station encompassing television, digital, and radio, quickly becoming the number one sales executive. However, upon reaching her annual sales goals, she discovered that her true passion lay in real estate investment. Consequently, in 2008, she decided to become a real estate agent. Since then, Gaby and her husband Chad have established The Proctor Team within Realty Austin and have achieved membership in the Diamond Club, surpassing $10 million in sales—a feat accomplished by only 3% of sales agents in Austin.

Lala is the Managing Partner of Tule Capital, a real estate investment company focused on investing in commercial properties in emerging markets in the United States, primarily in Texas, Arizona, and Florida. To date, she has invested in more than 2,500 doors (referring to rental units or properties) and currently brings these investment opportunities to individuals seeking the benefits of passive real estate investment without the complexity of operations. Lala holds an MBA from Babson College and has over 15 years of international business development experience, having worked for companies such as PepsiCo and Pernod Ricard. Additionally, Lala has experience founding and operating businesses in the restaurant and service industries, allowing her to apply project management skills to the properties in which Tule Capital invests. Furthermore, Lala serves as a startup advisor and is part of the Endeavor Mexico board. She is an investor in Venture Capital funds 500 Startups and Amplifica Capital, and an active member of Angel Hub Ventures. Lala is a guest columnist for El Financiero and co-hosts the Escalables Podcast.
