Carlos Alberto Pérez Ibarra (better known as “El Capi” Pérez) was part of the TV Azteca team that covered the Pan American Games in Guadalajara in 2011. After that, he joined the show Los del 7, where he worked as a reporter. In 2014, he became part of the morning show Venga la Alegría; that same year, La Resolana was created — a program in which “Capi” has excelled as a host, taking on a new challenge that involved not only a change in set design but also a complete restructuring of the show’s format. In addition, he has successfully developed his career as a comedian through his Amazon special Elotes para Todos and across three seasons of the reality show LOL: Last One Laughing, where he was the winner of the most recent season. He has also served as host on shows for Netflix, Sueltos en Los Cabos on Amazon, and will soon appear on Azteca Uno.
Jorge Jiménez (better known as “El Llorch”) began his television career in 2012 as a comedy writer and has since worked behind the camera creating and producing content for various platforms and projects. He served as Head Writer for La Resolana and as Content Director on productions such as LOL: Last One Laughing and Jalas o Te Rajas, in addition to developing content for major international events like the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games. He has written for renowned figures including Eugenio Derbez, Adal Ramones, Facundo, and La Cotorrisa, and has also explored alternative comedy alongside Ricardo O’Farrill, establishing a distinctive creative style. In addition to his work in television and comedy, he has been making music since the age of 12 and is currently a member of the band Los Mad Compadres.
